How Did You Find Us
The How Did You Find Us extension is an essential tool for understanding the origin of your customer base and optimizing your marketing channels. it allows you to collect valuable data during customer registration and analyze it through a comprehensive dashboard.

To use these features, the How did you find us addon must be enabled on your CLIENTXCMS.
Client Side
Once the extension is enabled, a new field appears on the registration form. Your new customers can then indicate how they discovered your services (for example: Google, Social Media, Word of mouth, etc.).
This information is then attached to the customer's profile for later analysis.
Admin Configuration
Management of the extension is done in Settings > Extension Settings > How Did You Find Us.
Source Management (CRUD)
You can configure the list of choices offered to customers during registration. The interface allows for classic management:
- Add a source: Define a new channel (e.g., "YouTube Ad").
- Edit a source: Change the name of an existing origin.
- Delete a source: Remove a choice from the list.
These sources will appear in the dropdown menu during registration.
Origin Analysis
The real strength of this extension lies in its analysis tool, accessible via the "Origin Analysis" button in the addon configuration.
Breakdown by Source
A detailed table displays the number of customers per source as well as their percentage of the total. This allows for immediate identification of which channel is the most effective.

Customer Map
An interactive map displays the geographical distribution of your customers by country. Regions are colored based on customer density, allowing you to visualize your most promising markets.

Activity Graphs
The tool also offers graphs to track the evolution of your growth:
- Registration History: Visualize the number of new customers over the last 30 days.
- Login History: Track customer activity and their attendance on the client area.
